Anyone seen/seeing any Westbrook or Anderson Valley Gose cans knocking around the front range lately?

    Cheers,
    Scott

Anderson Vally should be around a lot of places, Westbrook wasn't much and I'd guess would be pretty much gone by now.

edit: I know Keg Liquors pretty much always has had the 128 Kimmie Gose recently

Anderson Valley is also coming out with a new Gose flavor soon - blood orange if I remember correctly. Looking forward to that one.

There was a good amount of Westbrook Gose at Mondo Vino mid week. Not sure about now.

Applejack has both. I think they're selling Westbrook as singles.

Boulevard also has a gose out in 6'ers, and Almanac has one in bombers.

What he said ^^^. Off Color also has troublesome which is pretty widely available these days (luckily)

Almanac's Golden Gate Gose and Off Color Troublesome are both pretty weak examples of the style though sadly, I would definitely pass on them. AV and WB though, both quality brews worth finding.

I'd agree about Golden Gate, but I thought Troublesome was great.

I actually personally prefer Almanac and Troublesome to WB because they are balanced, refreshing and light on salt. WB is almost brackish which is a giant put off.

I believe Boulder Liquor Mart still had some Westbrook Gose when I was there last week. If not, they have some "wonderful" White Thai instead

I was quite underwhelmed by the Westbrook Thai beer...thought it would be great, but I think I prefer Upslope's offering...

I thought Upslope's WT was pretty awesome. Too.

Anderson Valley's Gose is easily obtained - at least in south metro. As is Golden Gate Gose. Westbrook's Gose has been out of stock for a few weeks now. All three are good in their own way, but I prefer AV simply because of price and availability.

It's a different style, but if you're looking for cheap tarts/sours, I highly recommend Grist's and Crabtree's Berliner Weisse's. These two - along with AV's Gose - are my go-to weeknight beers to itch my sour tooth.

Just tapped AV Gose at Powder Keg in Niwot. Hoping to see the AV Blood Orange Gose out here sometime soon.
