Got two from 2007

    I was looking through my "cellar" aka beer closet yesterday. Found a Druid Fluid and Jubelale from 2007. Are they any good?

    Only real way to tell is to crack em...but being stored at room temp for 6 years is far from favorable cellar conditions...

    Jubelale doesn't do too well, but I've had 4 year old jubels before and they were ok. Real muted and thin, lots of cola flavor.

    Any info on Druid Fluid?

    While I realize a closet isn't the best cellaring conditions, my closet is dark and in th coolest part of the house. Where I live, we don't have basements for cellars. I guess I could buy a tiny wine fridge though.

    Tried the 2007 Jubel Ale, wasn't too bad, just very malty.

    They definitely aren't bad, just nothing special when they are old. After experimenting with aging a few I think I like em fresh more.
