I am new to trading and new to the beer trading forums. One thing I have noticed is that it seems that everyone is looking for whales and rares and old vintages. God knows i had to look up a ton of acronyms to even see what some these beers are.

Is anyone trading locals for locals. I love to get beers that I cant get in FL. They dont have to Be KBS, Zombie Dust or Dark Lord. I just want good beers from breweries that I may not know even exists. Is that so hard or am I just a noob for even asking?

I have 2 trades im in the middle of and i am very excited to get what is on its way and for the other guy to give me feedback on what i send.

Very easy solution for you: just post a friendly FT: Locals :: ISO: Locals. I did this last summer when I moved to Michigan and ended up doing something like 6 trades in two weeks. Since you're new, I would caution you to make sure you do your background checking with whoever you are trading with so you don't get ripped off.

    Happy trading!

Post a FT: Locals from FL, ISO: Your locals and I bet you will get some responses. Cigar City beers definitely have some value, so I doubt you will have any issues. Also, Zombie Dust is off the shelf and not really a whale at all. Definitely FL locals will give you a shot to pick up some bottles if you want.

Its only been "on the shelf" in Chicago the past 2 weeks that's with a 1*6 pack limit and @ $12 a 6 pack. AND thats only if you can find it. Its far from easy.
