Hey gang, Recently posted a thread about an upcoming bachelor party/beercation in Grand Rapids I will be taking with several other Tampa Area natives. A Grand Rapids BA threw out the idea about possibly hosting a bottle share but has not yet followed up with me about it, so I wanted to pose the idea to the rest of you. Apparently, opening outside beers is not welcomed at Michigan bars/brewpubs so we would have to share stuff at a private residence. Anybody in the GR area willing to host? If the original person gets back and says he is still game, then obviously we would move forward with a tasting at his place. However, if he is unsure then I would love some options? I figured it would be better to try and lock down details now so we can plan ahead. Rest assured, we will show up with some good shit. And could even take care of our host with a care package as well. Thanks, Sean
I could scoot out to GR for a tasting. I live in Lansing, and it's less than an hour. If you were driving through the Lansing area, I could definitely host a tasting.
We are passing through Lansing on the way to GR (landing in Detroit). Probably grab a bite and a beer there on our way, but Grand Rapids is home base for the duration. If somebody steps up I will contact you.
I think I posted a bunch of different places for you to stop in your last thread. If you're stopping in Lansing, let me know, and I'll try to get out for a beer with you. Reno's East in East Lansing had Black Note tapped all week. :-D
