At the end of the month, I should have access some Grand Teton Bourbon Barrel Black Cauldron RIS. We don't normally get there beers down here, so I've never had the regular Black Cauldron, and I was wondering if this is something I should be excited about. The GT rep said they used Buffalo Trace and Old Forrester barrels.
I dig Black Cauldron, I'm definitely excited for the BA version. Anybody have distribution, bottle count, or pricing info? edit: nevermind, it's Beer of the month and brewery only.
The regular black cauldron was good but nothing special. It has a bit of an odd flavor for an IRS, butI could see how it would be a good candidate for bourbon barrel aging.
