    The first time I had Founders Reds Rye on tap I just gulped it down and loved the grapefruit flavor. But I have also had it in a bottle and I didn't get the same grapefruit flavor. Maybe the bottle wasn't as fresh.

    I just saw that Abita has one that is specifically a Grapefruit IPA, its called Abita Grapefruit Harvest IPA, I haven't tried it but it did look tempting. I think the IPA from Sweetwater, (yellow packaging)has a very strong Grapefruit component and truly enjoyable.

    Snipes Mountain Buckaroo...pretty much a hoppy grapefruit juice...actually pretty tasty though.

    Avery Maharajah. First time I had it, new to craft beer, I wondered why they put grapefruit juice in it.---But I liked it.

    I had it last night and didn't really taste the grapefruit till the end and it sat pretty heavy on the palette.

    Cigar City Humidor IPA. Very dry from the cedar, but very heavy on the grapefruit. I didn't like the first one I tried, but it has really grown on me.

    I gotta go with Night Shift's Jojo here.

    I'm not sure how this beer has such a low rating(83)....

    Tasted like someone soaked this beer on pure grapefruit rind for about a year, then hopped the shit out of it.

    grapefruit flavor.... it seems to frequently elude me. I LOVE grapefruity hops.... love love love. The citrus + bitter is super addictive.
    That being said, some of the brews mentioned above I've had, and didn't find them grapefruity at all. (Of course, I haven't had the opportunity to taste all of the above... maybe 60%) maybe my tongue is defective :confused:

    I'll say sucks and Columbus IPA. (I remain envious of all resident Ohioans.) To date, those are the only 2 that have been very citrus forward to my palate.

    Anyone feel like Sucks has some grapefruit notes? It's certainly a fruit bomb in general.
