I was curious, i found one bottle of Grapefruit Scalpin this weekend and thought it was incredible! I was wondering if anyone on BA knows how limited it really is to find? Not much info on their website

    Scalpin? Sounds painful!

But seriously, Grapefruit Sculpin seems to be getting more and more common in distribution. Not as much as the original, but I've seen it a bunch in states where they distribute.

In what ways does grapefruit benefit the scalp? Or are you planning to scalp someone and then use grapefruit for some purpose during the scalpin'?

Here in California are very abundant as of late. They even have it in a sixer cans. I'm not really sure in the east coast but it's getting pretty normal to it everywhere not like before.

Just saw it in cans for the first time in Chicago. A couple of months back it was limit 1 bottle for $3. Kind of funny.

It is very plentiful on the east coast as well. If you can't find it locally, you could easily get it in trade.

Grapefruit sculpin (as is the habanero sculpin) an be found on tap at a couple nearby places in Ohio and can be found in cans inconsistently, but at around $14/six.

Virginia has been getting good distribution of the Ballast Point beers as of late. I am quite happy about this.

I've seen it at several Whole Foods locations in NYC for the past few weeks, so it's pretty easy to get, at least around here.

Just saw it for the first time in cans myself today. I just wish it wasn't $14/6pk

It's all over the freaking place in SF area for ~14! A nice beer to try, but prefer the original - seems a little contrived.

Grapefruit scalpin is a very pithy activity.

Grapefruit Sculpin is a very delicious beer indeed. As mentioned it is now offered in cans. And as far as I know this beer was originally a part timer, but has now been promoted to year round. So as long as your local distributor carries it, you can get it. And...If you find some Habanero Sculpin, get it!

We just got an assload (that is an actual measurement term!!) of Grapefruit Sculpin in cans, but I heard there's a drought/water shortage in SoCal, so we may not get anymore

Grapefruit and Habanero sculpin are both all over RI. I love both but they're a little pricey.. I'll pick up a sixer here and there but only as a treat.

Here in Western Massachusetts at the small bottle shop I work at we have over 6 cases of cans. There doesn't seem to be a shortage.

Easy enough around me, I've seen bottles, on draft for growler fills, and saw it in cans for the first time locally recently as well. Seems to have some BA buzz, but looks like standard on the shelf brew.

    I prefer the orginal
