Grapefruit Sculpin Coming to Metro DC

    I was talking to the bartender at Lost Dog S. Arlington last night and he said they are getting bottles of Grapefruit Sculpin in the next week or so. Keep a lookout! Anyone with better info is welcome to add on to that.

    It hit a bunch of places this week -- Westover got it already, Arrowine's getting it today. I think most places are getting only 1-2 cases, so it won't last long.

    I tried it the other week and thought it was pretty good BUT to me it tasted like Sculpin with a bit of juice poured in. I'm sure that's what it basically is. If that's the case why not just buy regular and add your own, I don't think I would notice a difference

    is habanero coming along with the grapefruit or is grapefruit by itself?

    Westover said they're expecting Habanero on draft soon. I seem to remember that WOB Arlington also had it in the not-too-distant past. Personally, I like Grapefruit better -- I found Habanero too hot to be a satisfying drink.
