Quite pleased to have found it in Nor-Cal.

    Hurrah for Ballast Point.

I completely forgot to mule some up when I was just there in Santa Rosa. I did mule back 36 RR bottles tough, back to SD. That feeling when the girl is like, I'll let you buy a case of Blind Pig if you want. Yeah...sold.

Funny I just bought a 6 pack of it last night at Nugget in Vacaville too. Unexpected find.

As of late last night (8pm) there was only 1 sixer left. Not sure if they re-stocked or not today (Tuesday).

Check your local Total Wine, if you have one nearby--got a sixer there myself.

Was super excited to get this and enjoyed it quite a bit, but thought it was a bit too over the top grapefruity and detracted from the Sculpin essence as a result. Still real solid though. Grab a few if you spot em!

I just picked up some today at WF. They got two cases, didn't last long though.

I second this entirely. Really tasted a bit like IPA mixed with Squirt. I didn't get any of the Sculpin taste I love. It's a very solid beverage, but IMO, not worth the price tag to drink on a regular basis. Worth getting one sixer for sure!

I am drinking this now, I am really enjoying it, I however do pick up the base recipe even through the insane fruit infusion. It's better than most of their infused beers IMHO. A six pack is probably enough as you posted.

    Cheers…...

I just bought the only 6 pack of Grapefruit Sculpin that my local BevMo had. Just curious if anyone understands the bottle dating on this. It's not the same as what Ballast Point's website or Fresh Beer Only shows for dating. All 6 bottles are stamped with "SC6293". I have no idea what that means...

Where do you see a stamp? Obsessively, I searched up and down with a backlight and couldn't find anything.

I figured that since it was apparently a one-off they didn't bother dating it. Which is stupid.

The date stamp was admittedly hard to read as it was stamped on the label, on different spots on each bottle. On one of the bottles, it was stamped on a spot where I couldn't make out anything, but on the other 5 I could see the "SC6293". I know the SC is for Sculpin, but the rest makes no sense to me...
