I'll be visiting Socal for a couple weeks in mid January. Hoping to get my hands on a 6 pack or two of some Grapefruit Sculpin. Is it brewed year round? Can I only get it at the brewery? Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers
I grabbed a six pack last night at BevMo. Seems like it's seasonal but you can find it at Total Wine, BevMo, Whole Foods, etc.
Yup, many liquor stores should have them. I would recommend Whole Foods which have piles of it and usually no limits, while some liquor stores have weird 1 or 2 bottle limit.
Shipments are getting larger and more frequent. Expect this to be a "shelf turd" in the near future, lol.
Seeing this all over BevMo's- unless I'm lame, I can't decipher any bottling dates on these so I never know how long it has been around. My local BevMo notoriously has really old beer, but I'm not sure when this stuff started getting bottled. I bought 2 6ers probably early October but haven't bought it since as I don't know if its September beer or not.
