Kay's Wine and Spirits in East Hartford have it also. Picked up a two bottles yesterday. I tried it last night, enjoyed it alot. Its really hoppy, and has a long lingering "grapefruity and citrus" taste on the back on the palate. Gonna pick up one more, since its only brewed once.

Yeah I found the grapefruit taste overbearing. Could have been really solid if they had eased off of it a bit

Well if they pulled back on the grapefruit it wouldn't be grapefruit slam right??

For me,I loved every bit of the bitterness.I wasn't a fan of the malt.Kept getting a off putting flavor. The hop bill is right up my alley though and I love me some grapefruit.Maybe Stone wanted to make up for a lack of coconut in that collab. brew they did..lol.

    Cheers

Just finished one (bought a couple in Monroe) Maybe because I had an Abita Grapefruit IPA first, but I wasn't a fan. The Abita was better IMO.

Meh. My bottle was almost 2 months old, however due to the grapefruit/malt mix it tasted more like a year - old IPA to me...
