Just saw this on Kendalls blog: http://www.washingtonbeerblog.com/great-artisan-craft-beer-festival-at-emp-museum/ . While the beer list doesn't look particularly spectacular, it does include full access to all of EMP (which I've never been to). How much interest y'all got?
My initial reaction was a lot of interest since I live very close and could walk...then i saw the price and my interest plummeted...now i will research what beers will be there and come to a final conclusion but i dont think i can drink enough to make $60 a good deal...

Yeah, that was on my mind as I was posting. For me the possible attraction of this fest is access to EMP, without tourists and packs of families. The quality/rarity of beer might be secondary to being able to explore EMP with a beer. It's what I love about Hops and Props too, beer and airplanes? Yes please! (especially the times I've poured at HnP, you get there early to set up, and have free run of the whole facility. There is some coool stuff in the basement)
I chaperoned prom for the high school I work at one year when it was at EMP. We had free reign of the whole museum. No beer, but a very cool experience nonetheless.
