Anyone going? what do they think of the beer list? Should be a good start to Good Beer Week 2012. http://thelocaltaphouse.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/draft-beer-list-for-2012-great.html nice to see that they have a few sessions - though I wouldn't be game going on the Sunday if there's a whole lot of thirsty people in the 4 previous sessions!
Hi all I can confirm there will be kegs allocated to each GABS session, so, no worries there. GAB is also looking for volunteers. It is a great way to get some behind the scenes experience. All volunteers will also receive an exclusive GABS volunteer t-shirt and food vouchers for their volunteer session. There will be a range of roles that include: Front desk and customer service; greeting festival attendees Beer service; pouring beer and serving attendees Bar support; helping keep the beer flowing and the bars working well. Stephanie, what happens if people bought presale tickets before the volunteering arrangements were announced?
Hiya - I'll check for you. I suspect that the tickets are not refundable but am sure they are gift-able to friends and family! We are definitely keen on people from the beer community volunteering as it will add to the event.
If you have these people volunteering to make your business money, the least you could do is refund thier fuckin' tickets
