Heading to Webster NY for Easter to visit family. I looked up Hegedorn's Market, but are there any other stores worth checking out nearby? I'm just looking for beers that don't get distro'd to ME, NH, MA. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Beers of the World, in Henrietta, is awesome. The have a massive selection and you can buy singles. You can look up at mybeersoftheworld.com. definitely worth the 20 min drive from Webster.

Skip Beers of the World. Overpriced, rude service, and you've gotta be really careful with dates.

If you stay in Webster, check out Hegedorns and Wegmans - both in town and no drive necessary. They're grocery stores, but with pretty good selections.

If you want to drive 20 minutes away (past Webster from where you're coming from), head to AJ's Beer Warehouse in Henrietta. Compared to Beers of the World: friendlier staff, better prices, and a better selection of beer in the cooler in case you want to grab something to take to your family gathering. Almost everything is sold in singles if you don't want to go for a full six pack.

Now, all that said: I haven't been to Maine, Hew Hampshire, or Massachusetts in a while, so I'm not too sure what we actually have out here that you won't be able to get in any of those places. If you've got a list of anything specific (beers or breweries) that you're interested in, I can give you a good idea of whether you'll find them at any of the places listed above.

pitweasel - I have not been to AJ's, I am down the road in Buffalo, but I am definitely going to check it out the next time I am in the area. Thanks for the recommendation.

If I had only one place to go I would def choose aj's hands down. Best selection, good prices and probably one of the best bottle shops I have ever been to. They're getting beer in that noone else is, last time I was there they had Jai Alai. Skip Beers of the world, it's generally overpriced and filled with old beer.
