I have an ulterior motive, as I am making the trip from NC down to Gainesville today. However, I think it would be really cool to have a catalog of worthy spots. This would be good for all the major highways, of course, but here in this forum, we are partial to our I-95

Personally, I'm looking especially for great stuff I can't get in NC. But it would still be awesome to know what spots are within, say, 10 miles of the highway. That would allow a quick visit to add maybe not much more than an hour to your trip.

Without being able to verify, I would say there has to be something around Savannah since 95 rolls right through it as well as Florence.

Micky Finns in Florence would be a worthy stop

Thanks a lot, I checked it out. Grabbed some Coast and Westbrook beers, plus a Saison Dupont. Unfortunately, they were recently out of Boy King and Mexican Cake, but I still liked my haul. The employee was kinda clueless, but the selection was good.

You probably were there when the awesome beer guy (Goose) was off. Boy king, if they got any, was distributed like 3 months ago? And mexican cake was december, most gone off the shelves by early february. Sounds like you did pretty good. Micky Finns is doing a lot for the craft beer movement in Florence, always worth a stop off I-95 IMO.
