Great Divide BA Hibernation Ale

weird, i don't remember hearing about it much on the forums, and i don't see any expressly noted as 2011 vintage in the reviews. were the bottles released yet, or are they hanging on to them? apparently the beer was aged in stranahan colorado whiskey barrels; great stuff.

 

2012 should be coming out later this year. No 2011 version

 

As others have said, 2009 was the last bottling. I had one recently at a tasting and it was most excellent. There is a 2012 version slated to come out later this year so it should be much easier to get at that point.

 

so the 2011 label was probably just to get it improved in case it was ready to come out of barrels already? would make sense.

 

Can't wait for this one, probably in fall/winter, but the $ might be a bit much 25-30$ hopefully it might be a bit less for a BA seasonal and not a BA bomber. But loving the BA old ruffian...
