If it were me I'd have a Titan, then a chocolate yeti. Following the chocolate Yeti, I would call a cab company to pick me up in 2 hours.

The two hours would be spent playing the "How many more chocolate yetis can Ryan drink" game.

I find there's something about Great Divide beers I'm not completely wild about most of the time. I liked the Nomad quite a bit, Hoss is solid, and the Yeti series is uniformaly amazing, but I haven't been that big on too much of their other lineup. Orabelle, in particular, I thought was pretty bad. The rye, Belgian yeast, and orange just did not work together. I've been meaning to try Titan and Hercules again though, it's been a few years, and especially in Hercules' case, I've become much more accustomed to boozy brews.

Can't really drink their stuff anymore. The malt bill they use makes the beers way too sugary. Reminds me of sweet rolls. And I've bought fresh bottles of Titan And Hercules lately that were mediocre.

Their IPAs tend to be a bit fusel and spicy, so prepare.

I've found that Great Divide knock big beers out of the park but their every day beers are blah. Old Ruffian is my favorite barleywine and Yeti and its variants are among my favorite imperial stouts. But man, their every day lower ABV beers can use some real work. as well as their double ipa

I've liked most of the Great Divide beers I've had. I recall Hercules being very good, and I still love Titan. Collette was a decent, but not exceptional, saison. To this day, Nomad had one of the most beautifully floral noble hop profiles I've ever experienced (in retrospect, I can imagine it might be on the heavy side in this respect, but I was nevertheless really impressed with it at the time), but is also probably the most expensive pils I've ever bought; I think it was $12 for the sixer. My favorite from them is probably Hoss, however- great malt flavor.

I'll go ahead and admit that I'm not much of a fan of the Yeti series. The regular Yeti was good, but I didn't like how the oak/chocolate/espresso played with the beer's hoppiness.

    Wrong.
Though I love the same high gravity stuff, Hoss is superlative.

I generally enjoy most of the GD beers but don't think any of the IPAs/DIPAs are more than good and solid and for me, fall a bit short of the top tier. I really like Yeti, Hoss is an easy drinking and tasty one, and although it's not on the tap list given, I think Hibernation is a very nice winter warmer.

Many thanks to all for their suggestions! This is tonight at the Bronx Ale House. Kegs tap at seven, same time as the Ranger and Yankee games. Again, thanks for your thoughts, folks. Surprised to see opinions not GREATLY DIVIDED! Eh? Eh!?
