I grabbed a sixer of it last weekend. Solid brew. If you're a fan of pilsners, you'll like that one.

I am also bummed about Rye Of The Tiger. That's a damn good beer. I do like the new Turntable Pils a lot, but it seems to me that they should waited a month to a month and a half or so and released it in mid May when the weather will be consistently warmer than it is now. It's a good warm weather beer.

I thought it was just okay. A little too heavy of a pils for my taste but not bad by any means. I would call it a good beer to have with a heavy meal but not one that can be sessioned. Just seek it out on draft it you are curious, it seems to be literally everywhere right now.

I picked up Chillwave in the western suburbs earlier this week (Route 66 Beverage on Ogden Ave.) Cracked the first one last night and really enjoyed it.

Well I've located it. Going to make the annual "pilgrimage" out to jungle jims tonight to pick it up. By time I chill it I should been sipping by about 9 o'clock. I shall report back my musings on the matter.

Here and gone by me. A couple places are pouring draft, but the package stores are all saying that there "could be" another shipment coming in.

Wow, it's usually fairly easy to get around me. I even saw some past their prime last November.

Those guys have really blown up in my area. Nothing seasonal sits too long around here.

The red ale is here but last time I drank it got a headache, may sip lightly this time. Really sad to see Lake Erie Monster go so quick this time around. Seems like it only was out for for a hot second.

Chill wave seemed to stay around longer this time though.

Nosferatu is drinking wonderfully. Seems to be a little thicker with an extra malt kick. Delicious. 12-13 for a 4 pack amber is steep but I'll be picking up 3-4 of these.

I've seen a lot of positive posts this year, so looking forward to getting this. Few years back, nosferatu was my favorite great lakes, but the past two year or so have been way off.

Agreed I was gonna say the opposite of karnivool1 that the malt seems dialed back last couple years and way more hop forward now. Used to get a big malty sweetness to balance it out but not so much recently, not sure if others feel the same or its just my own tastes.

FYI, just paid $10.88, not sure who is charging $12 to $13.

Was in MI Labor Day weekend, it was 3.49 a bottle at a shop in Grand Rapids.

Finally in IL, and paid 11.99 a 4 pk this week. Regardless, my fav amber, this stuff is delicious!
