I plan to travel up to Great Lakes tomorrow for one night. I haven't been there before but I have Tuesday off and want to go and stay Monday night. I am looking to get advice on where to go after Great Lakes and where to stay? We will be arriving Monday around 8 and leaving Tuesday morning sometimes.
I'd also check out Fat Head's and The Brew Kettle. As for where to stay, there are no shortage of hotels everywhere in the city and in the suburbs.
Yea, can't help with the hotel as I never stay in one around here. Check hotels.com or a similar site and search based on what area you want to be in last. If you want to stay around Great Lake, I recommend: ABC Tavern - eclectic menu and good selection of draft/bottles/cans. A bit hipster but cool. Tremont Tap House - Best beer bar in Cleveland and one of the better ones I've been in anywhere in the world. Winks Bar and Grill - very good tap list that focuses on local and regional beer. Bier Market, Market Garden Brewery and Nano Brew are right around the corner, but I really can't say I like them much.
There's a hostel within walking distance of GLBC. http://theclevelandhostel.com/?page_id=216 Definitely hit up tap house after GLBC and Edison's both in tremont. Also in tremont is a brand new homebrew supply store if you're into that. http://www.facebook.com/ClevelandBrewShop
