Looking for a little intel from the message boards. I am heading to GABF tomorrow night and have tickets to two sessions. Does anyone have a local brewery or brewpub that you love but doesn't get a whole lot of attention? I'd like to seek out some lesser known gems and need your help.

Loved Vine St Pub, an off-shoot of Mountain Sun when I went to GABF a few years ago. They started brewing on premise in 2012. Definitely worth a stop.

If you have a car I'd recommend the Bull & Bush, Dry Dock, and Hogshead.

I guess I should have been more specific. I am looking for breweries from other parts of the country that are good but unknown. Breweries pouring at GABF...

Glad you posted this. I'm not making it to GABF, but I'll be in Denver and Boulder in two weeks, so I'll be stealing whatever suggestions people make to you here.

in the festival? smaller, unknown brewers?

go inside, blindfold yourself. spin yourself in about 25 circles to make yourself dizzy. remove blindfold. stumble around. all around you will be brewers from other states that youve not heard of or had beer from.

    its literally that easy.

I think Copper Kettle in Denver is a really nice gem. They are in a weird location but a solid list of beers that is under the radar from most places.

This is no joke, guyforget, is 100% right... some many breweries you've never heard of. A tip. Have a plan before stepping inside the convention center. The sheer number of beers is overwhelming. I did 3 sessions back in 09. Started focusing on the sours (Thurs) different regions(Fri) then lagers on Saturday..
