For all North Shore BAs, something to look forward to coming next year.

Definitely an interesting sounding project that will be welcome in Essex. Sounds like the owner is taking a really professional and scientific approach to the beer.

Construction is progressing along the Causeway and will hopefully see this place open in 2019.

So bumping this as the space is finally open

Varied tap list looks good, anybody been yet?

I’m going to try to head over after work today. The view out of the back of the brewery might rival anything I’ve ever seen.

Wow, that place looks amazing, and the tap list looks great, if not potentially overly ambitious. I'm looking forward to hearing from people who have been or go in the near future.

My in-laws live in Beverly and we've been interested in checking this place out. Possibly this weekend...

Seriously, that’s a lot of beer for anyone to offer, let alone at launch. But looks like these guys have money to throw around.

I believe the Bancroft group is bankrolling this operation in some capacity. Maybe just the food portion but, yeah, this isn’t a hole in the wall startup

Read a few articles this morning. Owner made money in tech and started home brewing in 2017. Will be interesting to see how the beer stacks up

Jump from hobby to multi million dollar brew house. Generally this always ends up aces...

I think we always want brewers to go through the grind of brewing out of tiny places, make no money, and "earn" our respect over time or whatever, but I think it's possible for this kind of situation to work out as well. Looking forward to trying his beers in the future.

Pretty pumped to give this place a whirl, this is a nice addition to what I see as a budding south shore scene.

Interesting that the brewrery a huge advantage of being able to put it's beer into three other major restaurants basically immediately. If the beer is good and you pair that with them being able to can in-house very shortly, there's an opportunity to get their name out there fast.

The bit in his bio which says “I’m an entrepreneur who was looking to open a brewery” really does nothing for me.

buy I’m sure opening a brewery and kitchen in an affluent north shore burb will do him well.

Great North in Ipswich took the same kind of approach, right? No clue how they’re doing profits wise, see their stuff around and usually grab an IPA on tap since it’s usually cheap. But cans seem to sit.

I was more speaking to the having like 15 beers on tap at once and a huge brew house. Hopefully some seasoned assistants have been brought on. Lot of room for pain there...

I went last night. Tried two flights the 4 neipas and the the darker beers. All were very well made. Prices were $2.5 small pour and $5 for a regular pour. The beers were all good, but the impressive part was the venue. You can tell they didn’t cheap out on anything. Most people stayed in the small bar downstairs but there are bars upstairs near the restaurant. They are supposed to be canning real soon also. Pair it with woodmans and it’s worth the trip.

I actually got a text about this place from a friend of mine who told me he really liked their beer and their spot.

I'm curious as to if this is the way the brewery model is the best way to succeed.Align yourself with deep pocketed investors (and having accounts at three really nice restaurants owned by those investors), and have the autonomy to brew what you like (the tap list looks really diverse). I can't think this place has anything but a really well-developed business plan. Sometimes I feel like there are breweries that don't have one at all.

My wife and I frequent True North pretty often with our little guy in tow. They have the right model (imo) of a friendly tap room catering to locals with decent beer. The place is usually pretty busy, but I imagine they find it hard to move cans in a meaningful way outside of eastern mass.
