Keep in mind that aligning yourself with deep pocket investors comes at a price. Suddenly you’re working a ton of hard hours for 10% equity. No thanks.

Deep pocket investors who understand the business are different from deep pocket investors who only understand dollars. It's clear some breweries in the area have had the latter. It sounds like these guys might have the former.

I'm glad that the beers seem good. I will say the whole homebrewer to "brewmaster" thing is real weird to me. Even Nate from Tree House, a homebrewer who has been brewing professionally for several years, doesn't call himself a brewmaster.

I'm not sure if this designation even means anything. I remember a Twitter thread recently with someone asking something along the lines of, "What term in beer do you want done away with" and one of the responses (from one of the brewers I follow) answered, "Brewmaster." That answer seemed to get a lot of love.

This is a super small sample size. Maybe that term means something specific. I truly don't know.

To me a brewmaster is simply the head brewer at a particular brewery. It has no relation to a certain level of training or skill. It’s jyst a title
