Did you drink them super cold? I didn't get much bitterness at all of Juice Box or Juice Jr, but I let them sit out of the fridge (just like Trillium/TH) for about 20 mins before I drink them.

From Cascade you should walk over to Growler Guys. 2 blocks? They will have a great selection of NW hops.

Currently they have Barley Browns, Boneyard, Pfriem, Fat Heads, Breakside, Laurelwood, Crux, and Gigantic hops worth drinking.

He may live in IL now, but I heard his hand truck maintains residency here.

Edit: How the hell did GG's get BBC Plum Provisional on tap before BBC did?

Can't answer that, but they're not the only ones. I'm pretty sure I saw it on tap down here in Eugene as well (at the Stein and over at the Tap and Growler and 16 tons).

Well, I'm glad to see them getting their specialty beers out in distro. But I've been eyeing that listing on the Coming Up: board at the brewery for a while now...

I flew back without my hand truck a couple weeks back and I regret it ...

As you probably know, we're kind of fond of Bend beers here in Eugene, and it's not unusual to see tap takeovers with various breweries. For whatever reason, I think there's been several BBC tap takeovers of late, which I suspect is why we're seeing the Plum provisional around town.

Personally, I'd be a very happy camper if things like hop head, the cherry Baltic porter and ching ching were available 24/7 here in Eugene.

Last summer during those 2week stretches of 90 degree heat, I drank so much Ching Ching and Victory Kirsch Gose.

How is the taproom itself? I'll be stopping by there for sure during my Portland visit in May

Opinions likely to vary on that. Not personally a fan of breweries that a) have a kitchen and b) serve hard alcohol. That's just me though. Inside is pretty bland - outdoor area seemed cool enough.

I liked the taproom. Nothing fancy, but good food and had a nice neighborhood hangout feel. Make sure you say hi to the goats out back.

Didn't try the food - seems like if you're hungry and within 50 feet of a Reggie Deluxe, you should just eat the Reggie Deluxe...
