Resin and Bengali. Backseat Berner. Finest Kind.

These all keep up with the "big boys" (in my opinion) and are readily available

I want what you Limbo lovers are smoking. Thought it was good when I tried first MA shipment, not so much the second, then could barely choke one down a few weeks later at the brewery. Tried it again a few months later with same result. Imo it stadles the amber/diacetyl/stressed yeast line.

I agree that Limbo is not great but holy shit ....you make it sound like shit! It's much better than shit, by the way...it's actually good, just not world class.

Stoneface doesn't yet distribute outside of NH, and even in the state, the IPA is pretty quick to sell out whether in bottles or on tap (at least in the Manchester/Nashua area...may be a different story on the Seacoast). Call this one the best IPA that should be readily available. I'm sure it will as they continue to grow.

I will throw in another vote for Larry, though I'm biased as a Leominster native who grew up ten minutes from the brewery and who remembers the days when "having craft beer on tap" (at least in Leominster/Fitchburg/Lunenburg bars) mean Guinness, Sam Lager, and Wachusett Country and Blueberry.

Finch's Hardcore Chimera seems to be at Redstone regularly these days. Tasty beverage.

Interesting topic, but be careful responding, you might get shot down by the OP. I'll give it a try:

In VT, if I don't have time to make it to places that sell the good local stuff, these are my IIPA substitutes:

    Backseat Berner
    Sculpin or Grapefruit Sculpin
    Resin/Hi-Res
    Wachusetts Larry
    Sucks
    Two Roads Road to Ruin

Whenever I'm on NY side of the lake, I'll get these:
    FW Double Jack/Union Jack
    Flower Power
    Unearthly
