besides Kane Head High? Havent had it in a while on tap and man that beer is in a league of its own! Had me wondering, are than any other really good single ipas brewed in NJ I should seek out? I personally think Spellbound IPA is really good also. Any other suggestions? Yes, unfortunately we must leave out Exit 16 and 077 from list.

Exit, 077xx, HH, and Overhead are all I'm aware of that's good. Haven't had Spellbound's IPA yet. Was not impressed at all by the overly malty IPAs from Forgotten Boardwalk and Beach Haus.

Yeah, i had Shiver Shore IPA from Forgotten Boardwalk also. It was just okay. I thought the Citra version they had at the brewery was better. I am not a fan of overly malty IPAs either.

Unfortunately not a lot of GREAT IPAs brewed in NJ (yet), but at least we get a ton of great IPAs distributed here. Pinelands Evergreen IPA pretty good and I have high hopes for Demented. I've heard good things about Angry Erik's beer.

Awesome thanks! Headed down to Glasstown brewing (Millville, nj) next sat. Heard some good
    things about their beer.

Unfortunately I think the best single ipas are not in Nj but in Brooklyn by other half. Close enough

I do like the river horse ipa. Good hop flavor with those new Zealand style hops.

Granted, I haven't had anything from them, but ya I have high expectations for Demented too...in the area of IPA's and "Great single IPAs in NJ" for that matter. Then again, maybe that's the problem with hype

River Horse's is almost there. Needs some refinement.

Flying Fish's Hopfish is fantastic if you like a more East coast/English style IPA. It's really great.

    At this point:

    IDIPA - Carton Brewing
    Gravitational Waves - Conclave Brewing
    Head High - Kane Brewing
    Pollinator - Magnify Brewing
    Dankey Kong - Glasstown Brewing
I want to see Mountains - Tuckahoe

Looks like a huge upgrade in this category in the past year.
Just to clarify - 077XX and Overhead are DIPA's.

Was also going to say Pollinator from Magnify and Gravitational Waves from Conclave are great.

    I enjoyed Glasstown's Danky Kong.

I know it is a double, but Forgotten Boardwalk's Pocket Trick really seems to be flying under the radar. It is really good, and gets no hype.

Vine Shine from Magnify is an excellent IPA. The brewer at Trap Rock makes a number of IPA's they are all very good. I haven't had Climax IPA in a few years but it was good the last time i had it.

I haven't been to Trap Rock in a few years. Good IPAs, you say?
