Ha, ha. I originally had this beer earlier this summer when a buddy brought it to a guy's night out. Although we generally agreed it wasn't good, it stimulated more conversation about any one beer than I can ever remember because it was very interesting!

Zwanzigz is from Indiana rather than OH as has been mentioned a few times in this thread. Kinda pissed I didn't know about them when I went through Columbus a few weeks ago :slight_frown:

I gotta chime in with some of my pleasant surprises from the day:
-I loved the 2011 Dark Lord and I was fully expecting to hate it since I cant stand sweet stouts
-4 Hands was easily my brewery of the day, so many great beers even though Vol 1 wasn't as great as excpecting
-Plead the 5th, which I can never get enough of
-Deconstructed Juliet was my highlight of the whole event
-All the great sours: Destihl Oud Bruin, Schlafly Oud Bruin, O'So Wee, Perennial Berliner, Brugge Spider

    And everyone else I missed

And here is Two Bros. response to their lackluster line-up for this year's Taste:

"Thank you for visiting us at Great Taste and for sharing your thoughts. We apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Two Brothers strives to produce well balanced beers, we also like to have fun and make limited one-offs that are a treat to our consumers. But they don’t last long! The 15 beers for 15 years series happened last year. As a brewery we have to take in to consideration age, season, and demand. Here is a list of our offerings at the Great Taste:

Pouring All Day: Domaine DuPage (French Country Ale), SideKick (Extra Pale Ale), Ebel's Weiss (German Hefeweizen), Dog Days (Dortmunder Lager), Outlaw (India Pale Ale)...Special Tapping's: 16th Anniversary (Belgian Golden Ale), Hop Centric (Double IPA), Laughing Panda (Green Tea IPA), Tangent (Dark Sour Ale w/ Brett)

Sorry you missed the special tappings, we promise to “bring it” next year…no fear. We totally appreciate the love and loyalty!"

So be looking for big things from Great Lakes and Two Bros. at next year's Taste!

p.s. I'm hoping for some Great Lakes Nosferatu and Two Bros. Cane & Ebel in the Real Ale Tent and some Great Lakes Blackout Stout and Two Bros. Northwind variants.
