I'm looking for some help from the "community" because my reps seem to be useless in this search. I have had some customers looking for beers from Greece. We used to get some through a small Greek distributor but alas I have had no contact with them since they delivered once. With the Olympics coming with fierce tenacity I feel it appropriate to do my best to track down at least one Greek beer. I know very few that are made in Greece are exported but I'll take whatever lead I can get. Ladies. Gentlemen. I applaud.
It has been at least 3 years, but I know we at least used to get Hillas, which isn't too bad. It's essentially a Greek helles (not sure if the similar name has anything to do with that), and it's certainly easy to drink. A now defunct Greek place over near Swedish Hospital in Englewood always used to feature it.
