    I grabbed a set the other day, but was wondering what the chances of catching the base on draft during Tampa Bay Beer Week are?

    Went ahead and grabbed a set. Can't afford to go crazy with this one and grab the max allotment. I'll regret it, I am sure of that. 1 set won't likely be enough.

    I'm going to be there on release day to try these on tap.

    Im in the same boat I have 2 sets for me and the GF to get in early, I also sent Green Bench as message on facebook trying to get and answer if we will be able to buy more at release day.....there are still tickets. But I want a few extra of the apple brandy version so do we know if you have to buy as a set or can we get more of certain styles

    Ended up getting the full 3 sets. I figure a few of my good trading partners may be happy to get these!

    I just called the brewery I was curious if you could buy single bottles of each treatment and they said yes I was going to buy another package but I have high hopes fro that apple brandy version......but we will get to taste each one before they go on sale to the public at 1200

    Is there anyway to buy a set and have someone pick up your bottles? Or is the receipt matched to your id?

    Pretty sure when I checked out it had me put 'Ticket name' on it. If someone were to purchase a set, they could put anyone's name on it. That should work in your situation.

    Yeah, I spoke to them and they said just provide whoever is picking it up with a copy of your drivers license.

    Hm. Odd that they would require a Driver's license considering the ticket system has a way to put "attendee name" and "purchaser's name." Not that I am doing this. I am picking up my own stuff.

    What are people's thoguhts on if individual bottles will still be available around 3pm? I land in Tampa around 2:15 and hope to make this my first stop.

    Bottles from their last release lasted quite sometime after the release, so I would think you should be fine. But that's Just like my opinion man.

    @PA-Michigander
    There is a solid beer event about an hour or so South of St Pete (JDub's Brewing's 1st anniversary) so I would assume that many folks are going to go to that first and then swing by Green Bench to pickup bottles later in the day. That is just speculation though.

    If you get there and they are gone, I may be able to meet up and get you a set (or individuals.) Shoot me a pm. I'll be in the Tampa area most of the morning/afternoon.

    According to the Head Brewer/Owner: Last bottle release, they had about 2500 bottles of Your Silent Captain. This time they also have about 2500 bottles, but divided between the 4 versions.

    500 bottles of the base and about 675 bottles of each barrel version.

    Well based on that, they will most likely go quicker this time for sure. Hopefully they will stick around for the majority of the day for those arriving later that night.

    It's always hard to judge how long things will last these days. With the beer scene in Tampa really taking off the past two years...nothing surprises me anymore.

    I also think this one might move faster because it's a more popular/accessible style than their last release (Russian Imperial Stout rather than a sour stout or sour brown). However, it's not CCB or Cycle, so there shouldn't be too much in the way of hoarding or muling.
