Green Bench Russian Mail Order Bottle Release

They still have silent cpt left i did ask and they will sell single bottles so i bet plenty will be left throughout the day with 350 tickets that were for sale and did Not sell out everyone should get what they want

 

Shit show out of flight boards at 1115 because they let anyone in ticket or not.....

 

It's not a ticketed event. If you read the details on the Brown Paper Ticket event page:

"At the release day event we'll be opening at 11am, an hour before we release bottle sales to the public so that you can:

a.) Pick up your pre-ordered bottles, and
b.) Order up discounted pours of each beer on tap in the tasting (limited supply)."

12pm is when they starting selling single bottles. They were opening at 11am so people could try the beers and pick up their preorders of the 4 packs. You weren't purchasing a ticket...you were guaranteeing bottles and getting a discount for purchasing them together and ahead of time

Okay so reviews for those who didn't make it? Which one was best out of the bunch? My buddy grabbed me 2 additional AB bottles as that's my favorite barrel treatment For a stout.

 

Any idea on how fast they were selling? If I make it out 6:30 any chance of finding a couple left?

I really enjoyed the Double Barrel. I did grab a few extras of this one and the AB. They did a great job with the release and the beers are definitely worth seeking out. I should have done the flight of all 4 but that full huge glass of the DB was enough to enjoy as it warmed up a bit.

I'll be sharing the full set I got with some friends and will do a more formal review/rating at that time.

 

I should say that @Mangbus willingly did a #pickitupformebro without me asking and was incredibly generous in offering them for whatever I'd like. Luckily they had bottles left this afternoon. Thanks a ton Mangbus, awesome of you!

 

This was probably the best Tequila barrel treated beer I've had. Not a fan if the style normally , but found it very enjoyable.
