I was in my neighborhood Hy Vee tonight and saw that Green Flash has made it to Iowa. They had four different brews in the cooler. Tonight I took a pass on it and went for the Founders Rye PA. ( because I cant get enough of it right now) And I find Trying to keep up with all the brewery's these days can make your head spin! I know I saw a red and an IPA has anyone here tried these? And would you please offer yourvopinion on what would be worth trying first?
I really enjoy GF. Their double stout is great deal for a Imp Stout. The Hop Head Red is really good too. If you know of a place that sells singles I highly recommend going that route. What are they charging for the 4 packs in your area?
being a local beer and with Trader Joe's having them it only cost $7 a 4-pack, making it a $10.50 6-pack, which I find a good deal. At $10 a 4-pack, that is equivalent to a $15 6-pack, that is a little pricey. I still suggest trying them but I do understand the hesitation. Maybe if there are some drinking buddies to split up the different 4-packs with
GF became available in Kansas last year, iirc. I have tried them all, went back for more, and enjoyed every bottle. Most have been available in bombers as well as 4 packs.
prob. my favorite brewery to make it to nebraska in a couple of years it's a bit polarizing but i fucking love rayon vert. $9/4pk of something that to me, tastes pretty similar to orval.
They should get their shit together and make it to GA too. They've been saying it for awhile and if I'm not mistaken their beers are already approved, we just don't get any. To answer your question OP I love West Coast IPA. I can't wait till they get their shit together and it joins smutty's finest kind in my fridge as a staple.
