So my local shop got a ton of these in, priced at $4.99 for eight beers.

    (4) West Coast IPA, (2) each Double Stout and Hop Head Red. The only one I've had before is the WCIPA and didn't really care for it, although it was a while ago and not sure if it was old at the time.

The kicker is the best by 3-05-15.

Are these still worth buying up? I guess I want to know if I can power though the old IPA withy the idea that the others will be fine with the age.

    Cheers!

    If I didn't like 4 out of 7, I'd pass.
At that price, I'd probably buy four.

The only thing that would really still be good is the stout, if you don't mind having old IPA's though that's a steal.

    For me I'd pass.

They recently re-did West Coast and it's pretty damn awesome now. At 6+ months old it will be shell of what it should be though.

Just the 2x double stout is probably worth it for that price.

I would go for it, I'd think hop head red would hold up better than wcipa and the stout will be fine. I would have gotten 3 or so

For that price I say it is a great deal. The IPA's wont be in their prime but will probably still be enjoyable imo.

That is a crazy good price, especially considering I feel the $17.99 I pay is a solid price. Mine are good until mid June. Those beers are 9 months old, the stout will be good and the other 2 won't be as good as normal, but very drinkable still. For that price I would buy one and see.

Never had half, the other half did not like, and three quarters of it, is expired. Why am I reading about this?

$5? I would buy every single one they had.

I always have good luck buying out of date beer. Within the past month or so I got a case of 21st Amendment Black IPA for $15 and two cases of Warsteiner Oktoberfest for $10 each (best before June something, to boot). Still taste great.

While you're pondering to buy or not to buy, I've already bought them all. Thanks.
