I've got a few extra green flash double stout. Wasn't overly impressed and was wondering if anyone has had any luck aging it? Might make me think otherwise about this brew

Only one way to find out. You aren't impressed with it now, what's the worst that can happen ?!

I can't give you a frame of reference but I wasn't impressed the first time either and let several bottles just sit and it was well over a year later when I drank one and really enjoyed it. If I had to guess I would say they were 18 months old.

I planned to just give them a year. Fresh it's not something I would seek out. Only hoping some time will give it a little of what I though it was lacking

I had a 2012 recently. There was still good carbonation. It had a lot of bitter dark chocolate, burnt coffee and anise flavors. I really enjoyed it.

I am trying a fresh one now and it is not too bad but I will age the rest.

I've had up to 3 years. Doesn't change much other than the hops fading. I wouldn't cellar it again.
