Is Green Flash in Minnesota yet? Thought I heard something about it coming but haven't seen it. Drank some in SD last week and it would be a nice addition...

Not soon enough haha. Had a few WC IPAs last week in Seattle. What a nice beer.

Well, there is some, but it's just the stuff I recently brought back from St Louis...

Its been here in Iowa for about 2 months now. However there has been such an influx of new stuff I have yet to try it. If we have it you will have it soon enough.

Green Flash brews some good libations, but honestly they don't come to mind when I think of brands I would like to see start distributing here in MN.

You should definitely try it. They make fantastic beers and I consider their West Coast IPA to be THE quintessential American IPA.

Green Flash IPA is very solid, didnt they change from six to four pks though and not change the price?

They do produce 4 packs, but they aren't outrageously priced. The bombers of Hop Head Red and West Coast IPA are really cheap considering the quality of the beer. I wan't to say HHR was $3.99 for a 22oz and the WCIPA was $4.99 if that.

I recall an old BA thread where there was a huge uproar that they went from six pks to four pks, and the price didnt change, or maybe went down a buck. It certainly is quality beer, but i wouldnt call ten bucks for a 4pk 'really cheap' for an IPA. Thats DIPA pricing right there!

at 7.3%, it's a pretty big IPA though...nearing DIPA territory. so $10 a 4pack isn't completely outrageous, but it is overpriced by a buck or two.

I know, but when you can get Torpedo or NG Blacktop for 8 bucks, that are both at/around the 7% mark, its tougher to take.

And often you can get Torpedo twelvers for $11 or $12 (best everyday deal in town, imo).

I am pretty sure I paid $8.99 or less for the four packs just last week.

I'll be surprised if it stays in Iowa for long. I love it, but not 2.50 a bottle love it. I can live on Big Sky at 6.99 a sixer.
Also, do they bottle date? I couldn't find anything. That will hurt as it will likely not move quickly.

Yeah, I wanted to try it as well, but $10 for a 4-pack seems a bit steep...

They only date the cases i believe, which doesnt do any good really.
