I hope not. That means I probably won't be able to get it until OEB, ashleys, and clubhouse get them. I prefer imperial. They take way better care of me. Though my sales lady from rave makes a great effort

Can you please retitle this thread to "Green Flash...Eastern Michigan...October"? Seems to be the trend.

    Thanks,

I like the guessing game, its neither one of those distributors, sorry I have no clue how/if the rest of the state will receive the beers

All these great new breweries are moving into Michigan, while the trend I've noticed is for beer bars to move towards more local beer. Not sure about in retail shops tho, maybe that is where they hope to sell the most product.

All of the new breweries entering retail are only serving to diminish the market share of the smaller out of state and some of the in state breweries. Ex. Abita, Fort Collins, Breckenridge, and Southern Tier to an extent, all seem to be suffering. This is only my experience in particular but, the new breweries and Michigan brewers seem to be thriving. Local has always been my top priority, and it seems that the "new" well known breweries entering the market will only be splitting the current market share amongst the other out of state brewers. Michigan beer is stronger than ever and it does not seem that there is any take away from the in state brewers.

    Interesting point.

I guess I follow that logic. I always try one or two offerings when someone new comes to town, then go back to my Michigan brews. I enjoy Southern Tiers beers, but it has been some time since I have bought anything by them.

I am looking forward to Green Flash coming to town, the few of their beers I have tried have been enjoyable, but after a few bottles, i will be right back to buying Michigan.

I do my absolute best to push Michigan beer. Shorts is my #1,2 priority. I try to get people interested early in newly distributed breweries. We've had oddside on for the last 2-3 years. Same with greenbush. as soon as i could het their beer, it went on tap. I'm proud of that.
As far as powers goes, Thanks for ruining my day, lol. They will hold greenflash for the best accounts, and then bullshit you by blaming the brewery. Oh well. Powers has great beer, just poor people running the company.

Shakespeare's Pub in Kalamazoo says they are "helping welcome the official release of Green Flash to Michigan" on Oct 4th.
