How early should I get there? Isn't the release around 2?

    Wondering this myself.

For Snozz i know people who got their at 11:30 (went on sale at 12) and got bottles. I go there at 10am and was the 150ish person in line.

Think I'm gonna go pretty early. 9ish.

The bottle limit is going to help, I wouldn't be surprised if arriving after 2 pm gets you a bottle, you'll just have to wait in line a little longer.

What if I want to just show up at 7pm since it's going to be on tap. Will it be insane?

Any chance these would be available for tasting at Brewgrass festival? Will be in Asheville for the first time this weekend to visit family and hit up the festival. It would be killer to try some Bootsy without having to deal with a bottle release. I'd probably even prefer going Friday to try some on draft. Are pours on things like this limited and are crowds nuts?

Bootsy is being tapped on Friday at 7. Maceo is being tapped Saturday at 7. Neither will be on tap Sunday.

Pretty sure they're pouring bottles those nights. Other wise the "on-premise consumption only" notice would be meaningless.

If everyone goes through the line and they still have bottles leftover, do they allow people to go back through for seconds? Did they allow this at the Snozzberry release?

Yes. They did at snozberry but with everything going on in Asheville this weekend I would expect a pretty big turnout.

While I agree with a lot of things going on, its possible the 1 bottle limit will deter some out of towners. Also I saw on snapchat how many cases there was of just bootsy. While limited yes, I think with the 1:1 limit the folks in the front could get bottles if they wrap back around.

The Panthers game being on at the same time may thin the crowd a bit too.

Green Man changed the bottle limit, it's now up to 2 of each. Info is on their FB event page.

Any chance the raising of the limit means there is more than what they originally thought? Wouldn't think they'd raise it if they thought it would limit the amount of people that would be getting it

Probably just got too much gripe from beer nerds like us. Although I was perfectly happy with the original 1:1

You may want to read it again..it is 2 bottles still, just that you can buy 2 of the same or still buy one and one. That is what I see unless I missed something.

I know this is a total longshot, but I can't make the release anymore. If there's anyone who's not planning on using their full allotment and could pick up a bottle of either for me, I'd make it worth your while.

    Have fun all!
