2pm release at brewery 2 bottle limit. Their site mentioned limited distribution after that. Sounds pretty tasty, planning on picking some up after work.

Does Green Man typically 2pp brewery release this? And has anyone had it? Beyond sours, I haven't had great luck in the taste department with Green Man's beers. :slight_frown:

I am not a fan of Rainmaker (had it last year), but may taste is ever evolving so I'll probably try it again.

Yeah, again with the releases at Green Man. Show up at 2pm, can get bottles no problem, but how about on tap?

"Sorry, tap handle is broken, we won't be serving this for at least a couple of hours, please purchase bottles or come back later."

Really? Ok guys, this is the second release you have screwed up in a row for me. I am seriously done. And $15 for a bomber of a DIPA? No thanks.

It's really $15? Why on earth would a double IPA be the same price as The Dweller?

That's Green Man for ya. $20 for a world-class sour, $15 for a mediocre DIPA.

Fresh Rainmaker is far from mediocre.

This is a shitty ploy that CCB uses as well. 'Hm guess I better buy the limit b/c it may sell out today, and if it's really good I'd have missed out!' seems to be the mindset this produces. I'm glad Cherry Grove traded well (and was well received by others in the taste department), Mekong was really tasty, and I was out of town for El Coco.

I mean Dweller is good, and Rainmaker is nice. I just stopped giving Green Man the love they deserve with all of the small boys popping up every 15 seconds. I will say that Forester? (The winter stout) is phenomenal for a just a plain old stout (LR Tombstone doesnt count, it had rye:slight_smile:).

Bigger issue is that I confuse them with Pisgah daily in my brain at work.
