If anyone has a Bootsy FT hit me up. I have Cycle stouts, DeGarde sours, and lots of other good stuff in the cellar. Some SARA on the way.

Sam's had a few bottles left at lunch time if anyone is still looking for a bottle, you might want to call first before you drive over.

Sam's is Durham institution. Basically a glorified gas station with some of the best beers available state wide. A must for any beer nut traveling or visiting the Bull City.

Aren't they handled by the Bud network these days, or are they split up statewide between the big guys? Either way, the Bud and Miller guys for the most part just sell beer.

It looks like Sam's was the only shop in the area that got Bootsy. It was the same thing with Demon Dweller.

How is Demon Dweller different than Dweller? Don't think I'd ever heard of Demon Dweller before your post.

    It drinks a bit . . . hotter.

BA version of Dweller. I've never had it though personally.

Avoid that garbage! What a horrible Imperial Stout. Save your $20.

Yeah I've not heard many people speak highly of it. I do like the regular Dweller though.

My bottle of 2013 was infected and I've heard others mention the same. I'll give it another go this year assuming they make it again because Dweller is fantastic.

Not a fan of Dweller to start with (I mean, its fine, but the price is painful), so doesn't sound like I'm going to be jumping on this one.

What did you pay for Dweller? I am not a Green Man apologist or anything but I hardly think these days that a $14 750 ml imperial stout is a painful price. Although it is not BA which does account for some price devaluation.

Pretty sure Dweller and Holly King both were $19-$20 at my local store. Yeah, a $14 750 mL would be a very palatable price.

A second round of Bootsy is supposed to come out. But not sure if it will be Asheville only or not.

Holly King was anywhere from $20 and up because its barrel aged. Dweller I have not seen for more than $15 anywhere around here, Asheville. But, I was traveling through Winston the other day after Sexual Chocolate release and they had bottles there and I believe they were also around $14.

They might be some confusion here. There's "The Dweller" and then there's "The Demon Dweller". One is barrel-aged and the other isn't. The Demon Dweller, which is BA was $20 at the brewery. Seems like all of their BA stuff is $20-22.
