    It's back.

I could care less for their top 10 reasons, but #8 is interesting: "We had to dump the last 2 batches!!!!!!"

"5. Internet value of Snozz is through the roof!"

That flies in the face of every "the Brewer doesn't want people profiting off their beers in the secondary market" argument

Yeah. The post as a whole is very off-putting.

I'll be there. Hopefully it's not a mess and hopefully family friendly!

Still awaiting any details on the event though.

The fact that they dumped the last two batches is highly concerning. They also decided to add the new peach/apricot saison to this same release, which makes me thing they are worried about turnout. Can't say I'm sold on attending this release by any means.

From the looks of the line this morning, seems like there is still a lot of interested in this release. :astonished:

Turns out they were wrong about #5 though.

I am on my way there now. They still have some left?

So I was pretty much over green man but showed up today with staff telling me they had plenty of bottles but you could only get them yesterday (not advertised) and you could only get it for on site consumption for $29. If you are only going to sell it one day say that and don’t have your staff be jerks about it! Bye green Man!

I’ve always found Green Man staff to be noticeably less friendly than any other Asheville brewery and have heard friends say the same.

I would tend to agree. I don't mind them holding bottles for on-site consumption, but being rude isn't cool.

Yeah, and I mean "rude" is maybe a tad strong for what I have personally experienced. But they just have oftentimes not seemed as welcoming as what you'd expect from the staff at a brewery anywhere, but particularly in a service town like Asheville. The fact that several other people I know have independently noticed it makes me feel like it's a pervasive thing.

I have never experienced anything but positive service at Green Man. A caveat here, though, is this is my first time at Green Man in 2 years.

The snozzberry release was handled okay, in my opinion. It did go fairly slow considering the options. My only complaint, and only because I got shutout, is having so few bottles of Maceo and Bootsy and still allowing this at a 2pp for each type. I was really hoping for a bottle of each.

Did you try a bottle on site? Has anyone had it yet to give honest opinions?

I had the snozz slushee on site and thought it was a pretty great sour. Haven’t popped a bottle yet though.
