I am from Charlotte and live in Atlanta. So I know NC fairly well. Dont worry about my business. I have an opinion and you should respect it and not continue this nonsensical back and forth.

I've been to Gibbs and enjoyed it. Quite frankly Natty's draft offerings are generally pretty good IMO. I'm looking forward to trying Preyer's and think that their pairing with Crafted makes it even more attractive. While the craft scene is doing pretty well here. Four breweries within walking distance of each other (well, I like to walk) in the downtown area and Red Oak just outside of town - not my favorite but there are people who love it. Quite frankly, if you're coming here for a wedding and you like beer this is a pretty good location. Not taking anything away from the Raleigh and Asheville beer scenes - both are nice.

Look, I'm used to it. I had so many friends move to Charlotte, Atlanta, New Orleans, New York, and places everywhere. A few called this place Greensbummer, but they were young and have since returned. I have no enmity towards you, but I am sensitive to snotty comments about this wonderful and historical place. I will defend this city with facts and vigor! Cheers and have a nice Saturday, and I'm being sincere!

Sticks and Stones, Southern Roots (albeit Jamestown), Lindley Park Filling Station, Bestway..ACC Tournament...love the Wyndam Championship too! My sister lives in Greensboro and I went to school at High Point. I love to go back and visit the Triad.

I havent been back in a while, but the new Silo Series from NG has been impressive. The expanded funky and sour line has been very impressive as well.

When you visit Southern roots, stop by Potent Potables next door in the old Sadie Mays location. It is a pretty good bottle shop and has a few beers on tap. Most nights there is a food truck as they don't have a kitchen. Some nights there is live music.

I've heard of PP and look them up on social media sometimes just to see the beers they get in. Looks like a great store!

I respect everything that you said, but I do not like the word "should". You are welcome to like and dislike whatever you wish, but if I do not respect your opinion, why "should" I? We have a saying around here that goes, "Thou shalt not should oneself". It's in the Bible or a Grateful Dead song, I forget.

PoPo is an awesome shop. Their prices are generally a little cheaper than Bestway, but PoPo is a bit of a drive from Greensboro proper. They have $3 drafts on Tuesdays and usually have good things on tap.

We go with all my kids and myngrandchildren, all 6 of the, so MB is quite perfect, or at least the house in Surfside Beach we rent for the week. I wouldn't care for MB per say.

They might like the ponies on the Outer Banks, but otherwise it might be like torture. That's quite a crew and cheers to you!

And my brother wife and two more kids, thank god for gin and beer, and Mint Juleps. I count 19 people in total, but it's great.

Good God! Maybe that happens once every 2 years? I come from a small family of tight-assed once partially religious brainiacs from Durham, so I'm always learning facts and patience.

Every 2nd week in July since my oldest daughter was a baby, maybe 1981, and we just keep adding on and it's a great week. 3 cases of Neshaminy The Shape of Hops to Come, hopefully a case of Heady , and a case of fresh Headhunter. that's how Pop survives 3 little girls and 3 little boys.

I think the Greensboro Civil Rights Museum is one of the best museums I ever visited.
