As the title states I'll be in Greenville S.C from sat. 4/25 to 4/27 Visiting family. Is there any must hit places on my short trip? Thanks for any ideas -Chad
Barley's- Great tap selection, ok food. Grill Marks- Great burgers, local beers on draft. Green's Discount Beverage, Greenville Beer Exchange, What's on Tap? There's also a Total Wine. If you want, take a 10 minute drive to Simpsonville and check out Crafted. Excellent and fresh selection. Growler fills.
FYI/Tip - You might want to put the SC in the title in the future as there is a Greenville NC as well (where East Carolina University is located)
I'll add Community Tap - Great bottle shop and bar, and they almost always have a Food Truck outside. Barley's is awesome. Like said earlier, great tap selection. I'll disagree about the food though - great pizza, albeit a little pricy. Mac's has a great tap list as well with some decent BBQ. Trappe Door has great Belgian food and a great selection of Belgian beers. Bacon Bros is about 10-15 minutes from Downtown, but it's some of the best food around and pretty unique. Carolina Ale House has a good draft selection, not so great food. But they have a roll down roof that's pretty awesome when the weather is nice. The local baseball team is at home all weekend so you can check out the Drive at their stadium downtown, too. They have some craft options in the "500 Club." Hope this helps.. have a good time here!
You may also want to check out Quest Brewing. It's right off the highway in Greenville. I've never been, but I enjoy their brews and they're good people.
