Saturday, March 31, 11am – “Solidarity!” Timothy O’Toole’s Pub | 622 N Fairbanks Ct., Chicago, and 5572 Grand Ave, Gurnee Eight American craft breweries will come together on Saturday, March 31 in an act of sudsy solidarity. This one-day affair will raise a glass to the revolution of independent and artisan beermakers, as well as celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Stone Brewing Co. distributing their beers to Chicago. This unique tasting event is taking place at both of Timothy O’Toole’s Pub outposts (Chicago and Gurnee). Starting at 11am, Stone and the other participating breweries will take over the taps, offering patrons 60 beers to choose from, a whopping 50 of which are from Stone, including many rare, limited edition selections. where do you even get 50 different beers from stone in kegs? that is just nuts.
All 3 events are going to be incredible. The Solidarity! event is the capstone and sure to be a remarkable event. The full tap list with all the revealed beers will be up today, as well as the lists of what beers will be at what bars. Each bar will have 25 Stone beers and a handful of friend taps. Tickets are still available for the Venue Package but not entirely sure about the Hardcore Packages. Those are pretty limited as the buses can only hold so much.
...Man, I had a bunch of fun when he hit town for their original kickoff at Twisted Spoke. Fun Thursday before Good Friday.. was that 2009? Edit: Appears it was 2010.. just remember I had to pick up Upland reservations the next day.. the original run of them.. Either way, probably be down for this.ei
Here is the updated tap list for both locations... http://www.timothyotooles.com/chicago/userfiles/SolidarityTapList3_24_12.jpg
