Does anyone know when these will hit distribution? I'm at World of Beer for a tap takeover for the 2018 varients and some of the promo posters have the line up shown in pint cans, so does anyone know if these will see wax dipped bombers or pint cans?

For those who have not had any yet, I have had the Great Lakes Coffee, Hazelnut Coffee, Raspberry Chocolate & Orange Chocolate. So far orange chocolate is by far the best.
This year's Flying Buffaloes also come in at 12% vs. the 14% of last year.

Seen a few stores getting the 16oz cans.
Picked up a single of Great Lakes coffee today. Store also had the BA spiced strong ale and BA stout as well. Haven't seen the orange or hazel nut yet in the pint cans.
IMO I feel the cans will do better than the bombers. :beers:

I agree. Normally bombers are standard for this type of beer/release, but most of us are drinking alone/on our own time and 12-16oz suits us way better.

Hit the eastside today but I’m guessing the brewery still has cans as well

Oh nice, I like the format and abv change. Last year's batch was pretty hot from my recollection. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this one.

Good to know. Nothing on beermenus yet for the Plymouth/Canton/Livonia area, but that normally drops a day or two later than most of metro Detroit.

My brother picked me up some Regular, Chocolate/Raspberry, Coffee and Hazelnut over the weekend from the brewery. I had hoped to get one of the mixed 8 packs, but apparently those were gone.

I think Flying Buffalo is a solid BA stout, and the move to cans is intriguing. It’s not anything to go out of the way to seek out IMO, but I always tend to enjoy it.

Napa Valley Beverage in Sterling Heghts had singles of all of the variants this year. Love the new 16 oz can format. I really enjoy the flying buffalo series.

I agree it's a solid BA Stout and a snifter of each varient each year is good enough, but damn that Orange Chocolate was good haha. I liked Bim Bam Boom from Short's and would have realy loved a version of it without the cayenne and that's what the Orange Chocolate Flying Buffalo was for me tonight.

What kind of prices are you guys seeing on this? These bombers have sat on shelves in the past because they were priced too high. Great beers but simply priced too high. Are the prices more reasonable now?

$25.00 for a 4 pack (same variant) at brewery. I got singles for $7.99. On realease day, the brewery sold an 8 pack of each one for $50 but they sold before I was able to get there.

Wish I’d known about the Orange Chocolate before I put an order in. Seeing as I’ve recently had Midnight Orange BCBS and wasn’t blown away, that drove me to not request the Orange Chocolate Flyong Buffalo.

Yeah about $7-9 for singles at various places. Much better than $20 bombers imho.
