I would have opened that bottle and shared it with all the happy customers who were there. And then I would have given a pour to the general manager and his staff.

Having said that, I have only had the 2014 Flying Buffalo in bottles and on tap and I think it's a fantastic beer.

For someone as accomplished and supremely skilled a brewer as Dan Rogers, it amazes me that they stack their barrels outside in the elements next to the delivery garage. Sounds like they might be getting a barrel house soon, but i've had far too many barrel aged beers with off flavors from them.

Barrel House is already built, so no barrels outside in the sun anymore (thank god).

I've been to Griffin Claw maybe 5 times. Each time I've gotten the BA Flying Buffalo. Great stuff.

Except for te last time I went... This was sometime last fall. I had a ($9) pour of the BA flying buffalo. It tasted so incredibly bad (butterscotch bomb). I told the server, and he took it to his boss. Dude comes back and tries to tell me that it tastes the same as it always does, but offers to give me a different beer instead.

I don't know if they are ignorant, or arrogant, but it was very annoying.
