So my dad's gunna grill up some fresh mako tonight. Looks like he's gunna be using some cajun seasoning. Any ideas on a beer to go with the shark?

I wanna say the guys on that tuna fishing show (mostly off MA) have caught mako.

As for what to pair with it I dunno. Most shark meat I've had is very clean, and it would depend on how warm the cajun seasoning is for me.

you catch it, and a lot of grocery stores and fish markets near the water will have it if you arent adventurous enough for that. I would say anything light in body so you dont way over power the flavor (this is just for the shark, im not sure how much seasoning is going on this bad boy), perhaps a golden or blonde ale?

I was under the impression mako survived in warmer than 65 degree water. That's what I was getting at. My family lives near the water I've just never seen mako at the fish store. Not that I've necessarily been looking for it though
