not to defend Food Emporium, or to nit pick, but he asked for Manhattan locations with cans... If I'm reading correctly, Milk & Hops only shows it on draft per Beermenus. The other 2 are in Brooklyn.

 

Hey, yes thanks, was primarily looking for cans in Manhattan to grab a few to enjoy for the big game on Sunday. I ran through my last reserve of Grimms from my pickup in December and not sure when I'll make it to the brewery again in the near future.

 

I mean you could go from food emporium to the brewery and back in about an hour and pay half the price.

True, but the L train pre-shutdown makes it difficult to go on weekends, the only time I'm able to go. Also, I'm specifically looking for Butterfly Door, which sold out at the brewery some time ago.

 

And not to defend Food Emporium (their prices are generally out of line), but I paid $7.99 at my local bottle shop in Queens for a Butterfly door (8.70 with tax) - which is untenable.

 

Local Bottle Shop > Shady Food Emporium

 

Agree wholeheartedly. I have never copped anything there. My point on the price could have been made without mentioning Food Emporium.

 

Milk & Hops Chelsea was charging $7.25 too, which is just getting ridiculous. Almost makes you hope for a shakeout in the space....

 

Tetraplex is a beast. Grassy, grassy, grassy, dank, dank, dank. What a fuckin DIPA.

 

Just finished one myself. Good stuff, I usually stay away from the 10% IPAs but I knew Grimm would do it right. Hyper Focus Mosaic is awesome too. Perfect base beer to highlight the flavors in hops. Galaxy was the best so far. Hopefully they come back around to that.

 

Tetraplex is awesome but the winner for me is Niceties. Pineapple sour broooooo.

Fiddlesticks...Just realized the L isn't running for prep work. I was under the mistaken impression Cuomo's plan would have cancelled that.

Anyone try the new batch of Lumen?

 

Wish I realized this before heading out there today and wondering why there was nobody waiting for the L. And since OH is out of cans/doesn't have anything I'm interested on for Growlers I went home empty handed today :|

 

Yes. It's the best batch yet. Layers of hop dankness .I bought 2 4x packs. Should've bought more .
