WF Byrant Park had some on Thursday, on the shelf in the refrigerated section.

 

Columbus Circle had it too, back by the beer section on the unrefrigerated shelves, and I think it was also near the taproom entrance with a stack of 4 other Grimm's

Bowery and Williamsburg, as of yesterday and Wednesday, respectively. Cold section for the former, both for the latter.

 

Saw it at Columbus Circle this afternoon, and signs saying all beer is 20% off next Saturday.

 

Yeah now we play the waiting game...does your favorite beer last until then to get the discount, or get shut out?

 

Cassiopeia is smooooooooth. I wasn't too impressed right out of the bottle, but once it warms up it's just smooth coffee with the right amount of sweetness. It's very drinkable for 10%.

 

Drinking it right this moment as well - agreed!

 

Jumping on the Cassiopeia train as well and I agree. Super smooth, and a richer coffee taste than the actual crap coffee I had this morning.

 

Guys, fine, I get the picture -- I'll go buy all the Cassiopeia.

Just gotta show up at 8 AM, right? I remember last year getting there around 10 AM and feeling rather shut out. That's a great time to stock up on basics, though, for holiday parties and the like.

 

Last year I went easy but two years ago I think that happened, not sure how early- I grabbed beer and groceries before 10, stopped by in the evening to get more beer and lots of what I wanted was sold out.

So yeah I'll be there before nine.

 

Had Cassiopeia on tap tonight and I'll echo what the others have said.

 

Icing on the cake. Looks amazing, cant wait for opinions this week.

 

It sounds awesome, though I do miss their barrel aged offerings.

 

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales Is icing on the cake made with the same base milk stout recipe as sugarmaker?

 

I tried to drink all the Cassiopeia at Milk and Hops Chelsea last night, but the eventually kicked me out at closing time. You all were right -- fantastic beer.

 

My couple of grimm spots on Long Island have not been getting any cans at all. Are they being limited more to the city only now?
