Sadly I was only joking. There's no Tile on any Union trucks going around town. In truth it wouldn't even work, at least not the way I currently understand that Tile works.

 

I remember Cable used to typically do lotteries on limited stuff, and sometimes even saved a few different releases to really share the wealth (ie, I once "won" the chance to choose from among stuff like Black Note, Parabola, and something else IIRC). Do they still do that? I assume that wouldn't work as well with hoppy stuff since you don't want to keep it around.

 

Was in whole foods chelsea getting lunch when a guy walked past with a 4pack. They've still got some for 18.99.

Last time I went there on a holiday he popped out a bunch of cellar stuff and you could pick one of each, Grimm cans were included and announcement was day of. He said he was tired of hundreds of calls a day so he now says he doesn't have it and then pops it out for sale on a random day of his choosing a week or so later

 

I understand customers are shitty in general, but if a bunch of people are coming to your shop just when they can get Grimm, then stop selling it. How much profit is there to be lost on a case or two of beer? As a small business owner, it's up to you to determine if it's worth the hassle.

Personally, I always feel a little guilty of going into a shop that I don't frequent strictly to buy something limited, so I'll usually end up buying something else that I don't really need.

Yup - fuck it!

 

The first 4-pack they handed me was busted...can had a hole in it! So there was one less four pack available.

 

I hate it when shops keep "special beer" in the back but don't announce they have it. How hard is it to write a sign "Ask someone at the counter after friday at noon. 2 per person" or something along those lines
