On a serious note, are all these IPAs people are chasing making it to bars on draft still? Always happy just to get pours around the city.

Nice. I'm a week away from arrival but I know kegs will pop up then if they are popping up at all.

Bruno in the east village has a draft and bottle like that is exclusively Grimm. It's a bit pricey but it includes tip. I was there last night and they had Forcefield in cans and draft plus a all of their recent bottled sours. I would assume in the next week Dreamweapon will also be available.

PS - The pizza is pretty damn good too.

I just had Dreamweapon on draft at Milk & Hops. It was good, but not hunting-down-cans good

Are all the mixed reviews of Dreamweapon based on the beer itself or because it's Grimm? Haven't been able to crack open any cans yet so they're patiently awaiting to be consumed.....

Why would there be mixed reviews because it's Grimm?

Well just hearing a lot of "not my favorite Grimm'' or something along those lines. Would like to hear peoples opinions not being compared to Tesseract, Forcefield, Lambo Door etc....

Eh. I see your point, but it kind of should be compared to those beers. It's tough to track down and costs $6-$8 a can with 1-2 can limits at most places. If it's not the typical Grimm quality it's not really worth seeking out at that price and scarcity.

I do agree that "not as good as Tesseract or Lambo Door" isn't fair because those are like my favorite 2 beers ever, but I'm not going to go hunting for Dreamweapon based on what I've seen here. Too many awesome beers out there readily available.

That's a good point about quality compared to others in the sense of price and having to run around for low limits. I guess I can't really say because I haven't tried it yet. I'm sure if it doesn't blow my mind how Tesseract did the first time I had it I'd feel the same way. I guess with Dreamweapon I'll try it and try not to compare it to Tesseract or Lambo Door etc.

Also I went after Dreamweapon not really knowing too much about it, saw a beermenus notification when I was very close to where it was posted so I said why not? You live and you learn lol

If people are still looking to get their hands on Forcefield or Dreamweapon I just got word from the people at Bruno Pizza that they just got in cans of the latter and still had Forcefield on tap and a few cans left as well.

I feel like it's lambo lite, superior drinkability!

While i prefer tesseract and lambo, I'm finding this to be quite nice and very much in the same vein.

I can not wait until the new WF at Bryant Park opens so I stop there on the way to work and not have to run around NYC like a maniac
