    The new brewery is coming...

    The Double Can + Glassware release at Barrier Brewing was a success.

    Funds from this release help to fund completion of Grimm's and Barrier's new brewing equipment, which was endangered when our manufacturer went out of business.

    Joe and Lauren thank you for your support and were glad to meet many of you at Barrier.

    Their new online shop is open. Check out their gorgeous glassware and shirts.

    Grimm beers are usually in high demand (especially the cans). Cans have been limited to low counts per person. Grimm Artisanal Ales supply their beers at low prices (and have NOT raised their prices recently) to the distributor, who supply the retail shops, and therefore are not responsible for the final price you may encounter. They try to support the "Mom and Pop" shops that sell their beer. Hopefully, we should all support these small shops. Also available at select Whole Foods beer departments with limits to spread the wealth among your fellow BA brethren. :sunglasses:

    The latest fitness craze has been the checking of this thread and Beermenus for their cans/bottles and running around town trying to get them before inventory is sold out. Needed exercise for some of our fellow beer enthusiasts. :grinning: If you miss out, you can usually find their beer on tap.

    Post away and yes, Joe and Lauren (the Grimm's) monitor this thread and are great about responding to your questions and comments. Especially, if you tag them @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales. :slight_smile: Great people, great couple, great brewers.


    Artwork

    The beautiful Grimm artwork on their labels is designed by Lauren, about 50% from scratch and the rest using Gretta Johnson's (their longtime friend) artwork. Gretta did the artwork for Sugarmaker, In Mid-Air, and Candlepower.

    Gnarly, Afterimage is probably my favorite Grimm beer. Excited to try it in its DDH form

    Still no signs of DDH Lumen at WF BP. They have bottles of Power Pop by the coffee counter.

    Where would the normally put cans? Are you talking about that coffee section near the entrance?

    I was just there and both Power Pop and Castling were in the beer section upstairs. Very confused by where this store puts its beers.

    Go up the stairs and look to the right. There's a counter there where they sell coffee. Whenever they have Grimm cans, it's behind this counter and you have to ask for it. Edit: Apparently it's an espresso bar per their website.

    I'm not from the area so forgive me if my questions are something that's common knowledge.

    I have my gf visiting the area, if she wanted to track down ddh tesseract or lambo door where would she find it? Or are these special releases?

    They are not special releases but also not out in stores right now. You can find the general release schedule in the first post of each month. For September.

    she may find DDH Lumen cans between now and then, and also a number of bottles of the past few releases are still available - power pop, castling, etc...

    If I recall this was discussed before... sounds like distro will shrink, if not go away initially, in favor of on-site sales at the brewery, but I'm sure the folks at Grimm or others here can give a more accurate answer

    Hey guys, wondering if Westside Market on 7th ever gets any Grimm IPA cans. Was there today and saw, what I think was Power Pop....was in a rush.
