Turns out my cousin's buddy owns the growler shop. He grabbed me a small growler of it on Saturday. It was amazing! Hopefully more of their stuff makes it down this way. What are the chances, @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales?

It was good to meet you John.

Chances are high and depend mostly on Shelton Brothers's ever shifting distributor relationships. But quantities are going to continue to be pretty limited.

New batch of Tesseract is flame. Keep pumping them out! Loved Lambo Door, too!

Will rainbow dome be a bottle release... or keg only?

I'd guess its being bottled--the only stuff not being bottled are the IPAs they're making in Staten Island...

I'm imagining Rainbow in Curved Air w/ dry hops...is that pretty much what this is?

not really... Rainbow in Curved Air was really dry, super carbed, and saison-like with subtler peach character. Rainbow Dome is fuller bodied, much more tart, with louder stone fruit notes. We wanted more sourness and fruit this time.

That sounds awesome. Loved the nose on Rainbow in Curved Air but thought the flavor was a little lacking.

Curved Air was really a dry farmhouse ale with slight tartness and peach but i think some people were expecting more BOOM sourness and stone fruit... This is probably more your jam if that's what you're looking for.

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales I iust read today that some of your production is done at Beltway Brewing in Sterling, VA. I apologize if this has been asked before, but do you have any plans to distribute to the northern VA market? I have been wanting to try your beers for a while. A few months ago I saw Churchkey had Telekinesis on tap, so I drove all the way into the city from Centreville (close to Sterling). When I got to Churchkey I was so excited that it was still on tap, I ordered one, the bartender went over and pulled the tap handle and it blew foam and kicked!

no plans to properly distribute in VA at this point. But DC is kinda weird/cool, you can sell beer to anyone. So we sometimes send beer to Churchkey and Paradiso. Love those spots.

Grimm is rapidly becoming my favorite NY brewery. New batch of Tesseract is amazing(wasn't able to try the original). Lambo door was great. I never really gravitate towards sours but Pyschokinesis was my favorite summer beer and Super Going took goses to another level. Excited to try what's next!

I'm kind of a newb to Grimm, i picked up some bottles of Rainbows in curved air and gradient last trip back to NY on a whim and was very impressed. I will be back this weekend, are bottles of Rainbow dome out now? Would love to pick up a few.

Telekinesis is on tap at the Dive Bar on Amsterdam & 96th (NYC), for anybody who missed it in bottles. It's not as hoppy as when it was fresh, but is still delicious.
